Shizuoka Prefectural Museum of Art


The Shizuoka Prefectural Museum of Art is located on the suburbs and overlooks Shizuoka City. The Japanese art collection consists of art from the Edo Period to present, including mainly landscape painting. The Western art collection includes "The Gates of Hel" among over thirty other sculptures by Rodin in the Rodin Wing.
