Toro Ruins is an important national historical site as it tells us of the settled agricultural civilization that the Yayoi people began. On the grounds of the ruins are restored thatched dwellings and elevated storehouses. At the Toro Ruins Museum you can see excavated articles and experience Yayoi lifestyle.
