| Sakura Ebi & Shirasu |

Sakura ebi (shrimp) can be found exclusively in the
waters of Suruga Bay. Trapped in a net and hauled
in
by boat at night from the Oigawa offing, these
delicious shrimp are caught twice a year, from
March
through June and from October through December.
Shirasu (whitebait) is a delicacy that can be eaten
raw, boiled or dried.
