Located in the uppermost part of the Abe River at about 1,000 meters above sea level. You can enjoy eco-tourism and observe untouched natural greenery such as primeval forests and alpine plants, as well as relaxing in hot springs.
This is the mountain pass on the border of Shizuoka Prefecture where, it is said, Takeda Shingen transported gold over to Yamanashi. The scenery is beautiful all year round, with the colors of autumn as the climax. The riverbanks leading to the mountain pass are also filled with interesting sights. (60 km)
